Josephine Lesic is the principal designer and founder. Holding a Bachelor of Architecture from Monash University, where she graduated with the university’s top two design awards, Josephine brings an architectural mindset and insightful creativity to residential design. This foundational expertise allows the studio to bridge the gap between intelligent spatial planning and refined interior aesthetics.

Studio Josephine views the home as a cohesive, architectural whole. We specialise in Building Concept Design, conceptualising the design of home extensions, renovations, and new builds to create exceptional flow and function from the outside in. We develop imaginative architectural concepts and partner seamlessly with skilled draftsmen and registered building practitioners to translate the created design vision into necessary technical documentation for town planning and building permits.

Once the building's footprint and flow are defined, our interior design expertise takes over. We translate those overarching concepts into precise interior documentation, bespoke cabinetry, and curated material selections. We then work collaboratively with builders and trades throughout construction to ensure the original design intent is immaculately executed down to the smallest detail.

Building Concept Design We guide our clients through the building design process including site and spatial planning, form and style of the building, floorplan layout and external material selection for their renovation, extension or entirely new home. We work seamlessly with registered building practitioners and consultants for any necessary documentation and permits. 

Interior Design Comprehensive design and detailed documentation of all internal spaces, custom joinery, and the meticulous selection of materials, fixtures, and fittings.

Interior Styling The curated selection and procurement of furniture, artwork, window treatments, and accessories to perfectly finish and elevate the space.

Project Administration Hands-on guidance from concept to completion. This includes in-person client consultations, site meetings with trades, curated showroom visits, product sourcing, and meticulous project oversight to ensure a seamless build.
